Mrs Charmaine Isaac
Through my teacher and mentor, Prof Isaac, I have been blessed with knowing this remarkable family for over fifty years.
Over the two decades my wife Usha and I have been in Bangalore, we have been honored and privileged to celebrate Christmas with you all. Mrs Isaac has been the perfect host every time.
We have known of this extraordinary family’s contributions to the fields of education and health over two generations, and have heard of the contributions of the foregoing generation as well. My only regret is that I have not been a student of Mrs Isaac, as I did not go to high school in Mumbai. A person with the highest of human values makes the greatest teacher.
Mrs Isaac’s kindness, caring for people and generosity has educated everyone who has known her.
Last year, Usha and I had our two daughters and three grand-daughters visit us. The moment she heard they were coming, Mrs Isaac invited us to bring them to her home. When they arrived to greet her, she gave each one of them a thoughtfully chosen gift.
The children, including the youngest, a two-year old at that time, thoroughly enjoyed playing with the toys they received.
Farewell, Mrs Isaac! May your soul rest in peace!
